• For the safety of the gymnasts, there is NO Flash Photography allowed at ANY meet.  (This includes the light on a video camera too.)  This applies to the competition AND the warm-up.

• A parent is NEVER allowed to approach a JUDGE (during or after a meet) and ask why their son got the score he did.  ALL correspondence about a gymnast's score should be attained by the gymnast's COACH.
   

• A gymnast's age is determined as of September 1st of each year.
   

• A gymnast's should carry his USAG card with him to each meet.
   

• You can read about the various equipment a gymnast uses in the USAG Men's Gymnastics Program, just visit USA-Gymnastics Online's  "Guide to Gymnastics" or check out either the "Men's Gymnastics Explained" page or The Drills and Skills page.
   

• The USAG has a few "Special Recognition Awards" that you might not know about for the Men's Program.  To check those out, go to the USAG site's Men's Rules and Policies (when I find the info in the new Rules and Policies, I will put a direct link on here).
   

• Meet Pictures are all around us.  If you have any pictures that you would like to see added to this page, please feel free to email me those, but remember.... I do this in my "spare" time.  They might not get on the site immediately.  
   

For some of you who are just starting this sport, it may be a good idea to read the Rules and Policies to better understand what is "proper" and what is not. 

Did you know...that while the #1 rule at the meets is "no flash photography", almost everyone takes pictures at the meets.  Either during (if you have a great camera that doesn't require a flash) or after (during awards.)  If you would like to share your pictures with the rest of the Region, feel free to email them to me.  Don't forget to let me know what gym you are from and the meet the picture was taken ...
