We are asking that every gymnast, parent, coach and club owner read this letter and understand the content.  It is about the preservation, protection and expansion of college gymnastics opportunities for our Junior Olympic Gymnasts.


Six members of the Hocking Valley Youth Sport Center's 15 to 18-year old boys' team (from Hocking Valley, Ohio) were chosen to represent the US at the Pan-American Club Championships, which took place in Puerto Rico from Dec. 9 to 15.  Be sure to read how they did by clicking here.....

All of the information for the 2008 Future Stars Championships is posted on the Menʼs Page of the USA Gymnastics web site and can be found in the Member Updates listing. The Future Stars information can also be found...[log into the coaches page to read more]

The qualifying scores for the 2008 Future Stars Championships are the same as for 2007 and are:

• 10 year old division: 76.00
• 11 year old division: 76.00
• 12 year old division: 72.00
• The required score at the Future Stars National Championship for a 10 year old to qualify to compete at Level 9 in the 2007-2008 Age Group Competition Program is 81.00

Mon, 23 Jun 2008 -- CSC launches online petition calling for "Common-Sense Reform" of Title IX.  Read more about it HERE....
 
 The College Sports Council and the Independent Women's Forum today issued a national appeal on the 36th anniversary of the passage of Title IX calling on men and women to work together to effect "straightforward and common-sense" reform of Title IX regulations.
 
 The CSC invites everyone in the Olympic Sports community to add their names to the petition.
